Antonin Fourneau's experiments in preparation for an installation of water reactive light has brought a compelling process of material evolution to the Artlab. The artist has vigorously tested numerous processes using different combinations of tools, design, material and chemical applications. Preservation and durability has, as always when working with art and technology, been one of the leading investigation these last several weeks. With the help of Octo23's Jourdain McRae the project is now undergoing an initial industrial phase. The first test order of the custom designed PCBs has arrived today. It is ready for component application and evaluation for any needed modifications before ordering a total batch of 200.
