Grégory Chatonsky, creator of "variable" fiction and juggler of flux.


Born in Paris in 1971, Grégory Chatonsky is now based both in Paris and Montreal.  In 1994 he founded the net-artists collective incident.net. In 2003-04 he taught at Le Fresnoy (Studio National des Arts Contemporains) and in 2006-07 he became professor at the visual and media art school at UQAM in Montréal. He also worked on numerous commissions as a net-designer: the websites of the Pompidou Centre and the Villa Medicis, the Visual identity of the MAC/VAL, interactive fiction for Arte TV. His many solo projects alternate with collective creations in France, Canada, USA, Italy, Australia, Germany, Finland and Spain. His works have been purchased by institutions such as the European House of photography.
