LEAP, the new interactive tool

 

 

 

LEAP released today its launching video introducing a new device to interact with hardware like smartphone, computers, televisions etc. LEAP looks like a little box, and seems to bring precision in motion detection to a new level. It seems more accurate than Kinect, and particularly more precise about the fingers moves. A innovation that could inspire many digital artists...

It seems like LEAPmotion (the company selling the Leap device) is already targetting the developers community : if you register online as a developer, LEAP already asks you if you want to be part of its LEAP App Store. http://live.leapmotion.com/developer-kit-application/
