 Ever since childhood I've practised various means of expression and it is by chance and as a self-taught person that I started photography in 2007. Then, I have been quickly interested in the production of video clips and VJing sets, which allowed me to give to my work a more dynamic way.

I made this learning "on the job", with guidance, advice and criticism from various professionals.
Many projects (productions, screenings, publications, exhibitions, etc..) have been completed or are underway.
I have also developed a multidisciplinary approach, in particular through generative art installations (mixing audio and visual creations).
For instance, I offer visual (photographic and video) exhibitions with the possibility of transdisciplinary installations / performances (video, music, literature), etc. I experience now with Exomène (exomene.com/) an installation of "generative music" developed directly from still images, with an interactive approach with the audience.
I participate and make performances mixing reading, video and music. Performed by a trio consisting of Exomène (music: exomene.com/), Marianne (text and interpretation: essentialites-marianne.blogspot.com/) and Dorianne Wotton (images), our three dreamlike, disturbing and crazy worlds cross, tangle and merge to create "spoken worms". The spoken worms have already been produced several times in Paris.
Finally, I work in the writing of short texts (news, scenario, etc..) related to my images in the prospect of a draft publication or screenings.

Le projet "Daube(d)" est un projet photographique entamé il y a plusieurs mois.

Daubed= en anglais, signifie "barbouillé", "peinturluré".

Daube= en français, au sens propre, signifie une "drogue agissant sur le système nerveux et dont l'abus conduit à la toxicomanie" et, au sens figuré, qualifie "quelque chose (être,objet, etc.) de médiocre".

Daube(d), c'est la réunion des deux. C'est une nouvelle représentation du corps entre "daube" (en français dans le texte) et "daubed" (en anglais dans le texte). Au spectateur de choisir si le "d" a lieu d'être... ou pas.

Nous sommes entourés, enveloppés, habités, voire hantés, par des images. Dans ce monde saturé et parasité par les illustrations, le corps humain est poreux : si, en tant que sujets de l’imaginaire, nos esprits sont assaillis par les images, nos chairs en sont également pétries. 

Avec le projet "Daube(d)", en écho au trop pleins iconographique que nous vivons, des images sont projetées sur des corps nus, qui deviennent alors support d'une image; projection capturée pour devenir image à son tour... Et ainsi de suite. Cette pénétration des images dans le corps fait de celui-ci un nouveau produit, informé (ou déformé, c’est selon) par les projections. Et la boucle est bouclée?

 

Corps et lumière, projection et impression, naissance et revenance des figures. Au final, l’image n’est plus seulement regardée ou à regarder: elle se lie dorénavant au corps non plus comme simple réplique animée, mais comme une réponse, un écho, un support.
