Shadow Monsters

"Shadow Monsters" is an installation by Philip Worthington that creates shadow puppets with a difference. Puppeteers place their hands in front of the lightbox and make shadow creatures in the usual way. Recognising the shape of hands however, the installation then adds teeth, spikes and tongues in the gaps that are intended to form the creatures' mouths. Locustream Promenade in SFR Player exhibition

Locustream Promenade is a sound art installation by Locus Sonus composed of sonic beams (10 parabolic dishes equiped with sound speakers and small computers). The parabolas are suspended in the public space in such a way that a visitor only hears the sound from the beam when he or she is directly underneath it.
