A-li-ce

Née en 1981, Claire Fristot aka A-li-ce est diplômée des Beaux-arts de Poitiers (EESI) et de l'EHESS (Paris), où elle finit en 2006 un Master 2 sur le thème de la mémoire dans l'art vidéo. Elle rejoint la Cie Le Sablier fin 2004, avec qui elle travaille et voyage en tant que vidéaste et photographe, puis collabore régulièrement avec d'autres artistes et compagnies, dont le collectif Sweatlodge et Le Thermogène à Nantes, Athra et Cie en 2009, etc. Membre du collectif audio-video Homemade et du duo électro-vidéo :NÄ:, elle est aussi VJ sous le pseudonyme d'A-li-ce depuis 2006, et a participé à plusieurs festivals vidéo et vj, dont Bandits-mages (Bourges), Vision'r (Paris), Live Performers Meeting (Rome), Mapping Festival (Genève), Paysages électroniques (Lille), LaptopsRus, Videoformes (Clermont-Ferrand), etc.

Claire Fristot aka a-li-ce (born in Dunkerque in 1981) lives and works in Paris. raduated of the Ecole Supérieure de l’image of Poitiers in 2004, her practical experience of photography and drawing leads her to explore the fields of installations and new medias.
She has been working with the theater companies for six years, making video creation intended to street  performances or stage. She began live video in 2004 with the performance Courant d’air and created one for the  play Gaspard, enfants sauvages de l’Europe created in february  2007 in Bucarest. In 2006 she passed a Master 2 at EHESS in Paris and her thematic focused on links between video media and memory arts. She started the Juste Alice Project in 2007 with the cello player Domitille Sanyas and creates the HomeMade collective with other live performers the same year. Besides her own projects she works with other companies and artists, and as a vj for different events. She is also a part of the duo audio-video :NÄ:.
