body>data>space is a collective of artists and designers engaged in creating fascinatingconnections between performance, architecture, new media and virtual worlds.Using our own collaboration methodologies and networked creation processes, thegroup visions the future of the human body and its real-time relationship toevolving global, social and technological shifts. Throughthe use of digital tools and social media our bodies are extending anddeveloping, our senses are enhanced, our social and work lives are changing. Atthe base of this is the imperative issue of how we, our bodies and minds, affect and influence the various realities surrounding us. body>data>spaceuse cutting edge performance, installation and interaction techniques tocomment on these changes through the creation of innovative forms of education, art and entertainment. Journeys, street events, immersion environments andresponsive spaces are all part of our core creation experience. We engage thepublic in the creative side of the work creating equal authorship through theparticipation of others. Forums, cluster projects, workshops and researchgroups give us the ever evolving input needed to update and add into thedebates and events we enable. Formedin 2005, and emerging from previous digital ground-breaking organisationsshinkansen and Future Physical, we have over 20 years work experience in thecultural and creative industries and the digital sector. The collectivecontains mature professionals and those with fresh, topical and youngerthinking- an inter-generational grouping from those in our 20s to our 50s andwe produce and curate a wide variety of activities using our extensive jointexperiences. Weemploy our own collaboration methodology “The Weave” to assemble and enablegroups to explore, share, debate and create ideas together. We work in aninterdisciplinary way, co-producing with and creating deep co-operationprojects between sectors and peer group organisations across Europe. We opt tobe part of and aim to influence the intercultural and socio political dialogueof today’s world — local to local and European to global.
