DIGITAL PAINTINGS - ORIGINAL PRINTS

As a professional artist my philosophy is to provide archival grade conservation quality original prints, that will endure beyond a lifetime to be enjoyed by future generations, and provide investment quality art.

An original print is a work of graphic art which has been conceived by the artist to be intended as an original work of art, rather than a copy of a work in another medium. The work of a digital painter is by its nature intended to be physically created by the giclee printing process, for the purpose of presentation, exhibition, and selling.

Many collectors will prefer the uniqueness associated with traditional paintings, which will always command high prices. However, digital painting is a very highly skilled and permanent cultural movement in fine-art, and many traditional artists have embraced the creatively versatile technology.

Prints created by contemporary digital artists are original prints, as defined by the International Fine Print Dealers Association:
"The distinction as to whether a digital print is an "original print" is determined by whether
the work was created by the artist to be realised specifically as a print."
