NEM Art and Design Contest will take place on 27-29 September 2011, in Torino.
They are looking for innovative content and experiences which make the most of today’s available NEM technologies -at the crossroads of multimedia and networking technologies – and which illustrate how these technologies benefit everyday life and business alike and may inspire tomorrow’s applications, or which are simply fresh and fun to discover.
If you are a technology geek, an artist, a pair of artists and technologists, a graphics designer, or just someone interested in 3D and virtual worlds, the Internet and other communications networks, or in music and images, this contest is for you.
Submit your creation as a video, a flash illustrator file or any other type of animated virtual or real content, add a picture and text and send this to us no later than May 31, 2011 by using the online submission form. Bear in mind that your work should easily be made available on a website – as a video or other suitable format.

You will be notified by June 30, 2011 as to whether the NEM Arts jury has accepted your creation. The NEM jury will unveil the NEMArt contest awards during the closing session of the 2011 NEM Summit. The winners will share a prize of €5,000 and the selected pieces and information about their creators will be given strong visibility on the NEM Initiative and NEM Summit websites for at least one year.
