i/o/lab– Center for future arts aims to promote technological based art in any field, locally andinternationally.

 

i/o/lab will be an interdisciplinary resource anda resource center for artists that explores and comments on technology, scienceand social context. i/o/lab to offer including dissemination and capacitybuilding through a range of educational initiatives and externally orientedactivities.

FIELDS OF ACTIVITIES:

Art Production and projects

i/o/lab highest priority is to drive forwardartistic projects that explore the interplay between technology, science andsocial context.

Parallel with the artistic production  we will be focused on outreachactivities and to create new and alternative viewing options forelectronic-based art.

i/o/lab produces projects like Public Art Screens to mediate screen based art in public venues, and also the producerof Article Biennale - devoted toart/technology/science, Article is based in Stavanger, Norway.
