MADE Mobility for Digital Arts in Europe's blogMobility for digital arts in Europe http://www.we-made.eu/ Une plateforme de coopération européenne durable constituée des structures : Body>data>space / Londres / Grande-Bretagne Transcultures / Mons / Belgique BoDig / Istanbul / Turquie centre des arts /Enghien-les-Bains/ France projet sélectionné par la Commission européenne dans le cadre du programme « Culture » Une action de coopération menée sur 24 mois (juin 2010 à juin 2012) MADE - Mobility for Digital Arts in Europe Porté par le RAN-Réseau Arts Numériques (centre des arts d’Enghien-les-Bains), le projet est développé par quatre structures européennes dédiées à la recherche, au développement, à la création et à la diffusion des arts numériques ; body>data>space à Londres, Transcultures à Mons et bodig à Istanbul. Le Projet MADE 8 workshops organisés dans les 4 structures, autour du thème « arts numériques et nouveaux vécus esthétiques des espaces »; 1 appel à projet européen visant à sélectionner un projet dédié aux arts numériques coproduit par les quatre partenaires de MADE et développé sur les 24 mois projet ; 1 coproduction européenne développée le temps de 4 résidence chez chaque partenaire qui apporte expertise et savoir-faire au projet ; diffusion en avant-première européen du projet lauréat à l’issue des 24 mois au centre des arts d’Enghien-les-Bains puis diffusé dans les trois autres lieux partenaires; site internet dédié au projet MADE avec également une plate-forme destinée à la communauté internationale des arts numériques. http://www.we-made.eu; publications d’un ouvrage réalisé au terme du projet retraçant l’expérience de cette coproduction européenne et publication d’un guide européen en matière de création numérique. ---------------------------------------------> english A sustainable European cooperation Platform made up of: Body>data>space / London / UK Transcultures / Mons / Belgium BoDig / Istanbul / Turkuey centre des arts /Enghien-les-Bains/ France Project selected by the European Commission as part of the "Culture" program A 24-month action; from June 2010 to June 2012 MADE - Mobility for Digital Arts in Europe Hold by the RAN- Réseau Arts Numériques (initiated by the centre des arts of Enghien-les-Bains), it is made of four European structures dedicated to research, development, creation and digital arts diffusion. The MADE project is: 8 workshops organized in the 4 structures, around the theme " digital arts and new aesthetic spatial experience”; 1 european call for project to select a project dedicated to digital arts which will be coproduced by the MADE four partners and developed during 24 months; 1 european coproduction improved during 4 period of time in residence at different steps of the creation following the specificities and the value added that each place will offer; diffusion in premiere at centre des arts d’Enghien-les-Bains, and then it will be showed in the three other partner places. website dedicated to the MADE project also be used as a platform for the digital arts international community - http://www.we-made.eu; publications as white books and presentation booklets of the residence project and a guide presenting the European coproduction in terms of digital creation. The first MADE rendez-vousThe first MADE rendez-vous : London – 23rd to 26th November 2010 Workshop and official launch of the european call for projects London – 23rd to 26th November 2010 london MADE FORUM Introduction and details of the project from Dominique Roland (Director, centre des arts d’Enghien-les-Bains, Paris), project leader of the MADE project and from UK partners Ghislaine Boddington (Director, body>data>space, London) with an input on virtual mobility in European performing arts. Keynote inputs will be given on topics relevant to the MADE themes: • David Sabel – Head of Digital Media at the National Theatre - on NT Live, the live streaming of staged works to cinemas worldwid • Clare Reddington – Director of ished / Pervasive Media Studios at the Watershed in Bristol – on the skills and needs of digital producing for the future. Followed by questions/ answers and a debate. RECEPTION Official Launch of MADE (Mobility of Digital Artists in Europe) project and the announcement of the Call for Proposals. With a few words from Dominique Roland (centre des arts d’Enghien-les-Bains, Paris), Ghislaine Boddington (body>data>space, London), Xavier Guerard (Deputy Director & Audiovisual Attaché, French Institute in the UK), Antonia Mochan (Head of Media, European Commission Representation in the UK). Project partners Aylin Kalem (boDig, Istanbul), Philippe Frank (Transcultures, Mons) and Philippe Baudelot (Digital Performances & Cultures, Toulouse) will also be present. This Workshop event invites a small group of expert guests and key producers to join the MADE international partners at their first London gathering, to exchange knowledge, share personal experiences and contribute influences.
