Digital Arts Exhibition "Horizons numériques" in Liège (in La civilisation numérique entre promesses et réalités)

Transcultures is in charge of a digital arts show in Liège, from March 25 to 27, at Le Manège as part of the Festival La civilisation numérique (entre promesses et réalités)/the digital civilisation, between promises & realites organized by La cité de la connaissance. A selection of installations and environments by multimedia artists of the Frenchspeaking Community of Belgium (curator : Philippe Franck) by Thomas Israël, Valérie Cordy, Julien Odeur, Cedric Dumetz, Stéphane Kozik, Pascale Barret, Colin Ponthot, Noémie Goldberg+Julien Deswaef...+ "digital emergences", multimedia art works made by students of the Saint-Luc Art School of Liègen, video screening by artists produced by Le Fresnoy (selected by Eric Prigent, pedagogical director), a digital bazar with art schools, innovative companies and debates complement this rich programme.


Transcultures is also a partner of Vidéographies21 (23-26 March, Cinema la Sauvenière, Liège), festival of experimental and digital images featurring among other special events a cartes blanche to Bige Öger (direcotr of the Art Biennale of Istanbul) and a "trans electro kino" (evening  curated by Philippe Franck on March 26, 8.30 pm with hybrid and musical videos directed by Transcultures supported artists such as Lavender Hill, Thomas Israël, Christophe Bailleau, Natalia de Mello + The Aktivist. Check also the international video selections and installations in competition.
