international forum for web, innovation and digital. On the booth,
Digitalarti presented a selection of the best digital art creation. This is an interview of Malo Girod de l'Ain, co-founder of Digitalarti with Anne-Cécile Worms.
From November 25th thru November 26th, the 3rd edition of the European
Spiritual Film Festival in Fez, Morocco, will be hosted by the French
Embassy and the French Institute of Fez.
The oldest of digitalfestivals has returned to its preferred sites at the Ars Electronica Center,the Brucknerhaus, the Lentos and OK Centrum (where another exhibition was beingheld, the Hohenrausch) after a very brief turn at the Tabakfabrik. Meanwhile,the symposium for this 2011 edition, entitled Origin, was organised incollaboration with the CERN.
Digital run in Scopitone 2011- This year, Scopitone's exhibitions were presented in several emblematic places in Nantes : Ducs de
Bretagne' castle, ENSA, Lieu Unique and, of course, in Stereolux.

On this third night in Scopitone festival, at Stereolux, we see Murat
Ombombe making music with his body, Sounds stimulating the face of Daito
Manabe, forms making music with Purform, Hifana in a total audiovisual
show and the legend from Kraftwerk, Karl Bartos.
We finish at La Friche with Sebastian on a gigantic dancefloor.
We begin with Kid Koala in Stereolux. He plays with audience, shows his
project Space Cadet, and plays his last track on Ninja Tune. A master of
scratch !
In TU, we go on with Hiroaki Umeda playing Accumulated Layout, an ascetic and impressive performance. Zan Lyons gives us a melancholic and beautiful live A/V with machines, violin and film.
Scopitone starts this year with a big night, between immersive lives A/V and acid music.

Ars Electronica is this year more centered around the Ars Electronica center itself. Wednesday's evening concert took place on the main deck there with the great Gameboy Music Club, the impressive Tesla Orchestra and Michael Mayr & Kid Soylent.
Between the 1st and 4th of April 2010, 14,000 people visited the Electron festival. This is testimony to the importance this event has acquired, with its performances, screenings, conferences, and, of course, its plethora of DJ and live acts. Here’s a look back at the highlights of this year's 7th edition.
The 10th Tribeca Film Festival takes place from April 20 to May 1 in New York and includes 88 feature-length and 61 short films, from 32 different countries, including 43 world premieres.
The Transmediale Festival focuses on the role of digital technologies in our society, while Club Transmediale is devoted to the "adventurous" music and related visual arts. This year, the Schering Foundation and the [DAM] Gallery were associated with these two events in Berlin. And we should not forget the Hamburger Bahnhof which has nothing at all to do with the Transmediale, but which presented the work of a resolutely digital artist.

About- In 2007, the centre des arts in Enghien-les-Bains, a venue for the promotion of digital creation subsidised by the French Ministry of Culture and Communication, launched a project to create a network of artistic, scientific and industrial research, production, distribution and training organisations working in the area of digital creation in France and internationally.

The 53rd Venice Biennale opened at the beginning of June bringing together artists, curators and critics from around the world before opening to the general public through until November 22nd. HONF winner of Transmediale 2011- We met Venzha Christ, le founder of the laboratory HONF in yojakarta few years ago during Club auto, an experimental research group around Gerard Couty.
The fourth edition of the STRP festival, which is devoted to bringing together music and artistic and technological practices, drew more than 30,000 visitors to its many concerts, performances, exhibitions, conferences and workshops in November 2010. The most recent edition of the Ars Elctronica Festival dedicated to art, technology and society, mainly took place in a former tobacco processing plant in Linz, the scope of which impressed all participants.

Soo much to see, hear, exchange, discover… at this year's Ars Electronica festival. What remains afterward?
The sheer size of the location was a much discussed topic among visitors. Impressive? Too much? Great? Not enough budget to properly use the whole space? Too much cardboard?
The festival Les Instants Vidéo (international video art and multimedia festival) wants to be a space/time where destinies come across each other, where new cartographies of creation can be woven, where new lines can be opened in direction to new comets...
As every year, a large public event is organized during the Ars Electronica festival along the Danube. This year's theme was BABY JET, the railroad of the future. The fantasized project, from artist Lawine Torren, is to create an underground, more than 1.000 km per hour, bullet train.
From June 24th to August 6th, you can see Theatrical Properties, an art exhibition that positions the everyday object as a prop in our collective storylines featuring work by Marcela Armas, Michel de Broin, Daniel Canogar, and Jean Shin.

As Nemo takes up residence in the CENTQUATRE and continues to pump digital blood through the arteries of the Greater Paris area with its faithful old partners as well as some new ones, this twelfth festival also represents a kind of assessment (of the new perspectives in the coming years).
After the initial launch last May, the Digitalarti team is glad to annouce the launch of the new beta version, the 0.9, ready for Ars Electronica in Linz, Austria, and close to the final 1.0 version.
