CORTOONS ( http://www.cortoons.it/ ) is an International Festival exclusively dedicated to the animated short movie, increasingly the ground of greater visual experimentation of the last years.

This year, it will be from 14 to 18 March 2012, in the usual venue at the Palladium Theater, in Rome.
The competition categories are 7: Italian Short Films, International Short Films 1-4 minutes, 4-20 minutes Shorts International; Shorts Schools, Videoclips, VFX, Featured Films.
- The subject is free
- There is no fee
- The films must be made after1st January 2010
- All-animation techniques are eligible
- The deadline is on 15 January 2012
- The Festival is free of charge
