FIFTH INTERNATIONAL DIGITAL MINPRINT EXHIBITION (Canada)

An exhibition which will allow us to share our cultural differences, our singular artistic practices while belonging to an international artistic community. The small size of miniprints offers a democratic and easily transportable format, yet is strikingly intense in its intimacy. These works impose a particular onus upon the artist to develop the full potential of a small image. The closeness betwen the work and its creator carries both sensual and emotional feelings for spectators as they draw nearer to the works in order to appreciate them.

Open Call

C.A.R.M.A. - Applied Multimedia Art and Research Center - announces an open call for “ARTE VIDEO ROMA FESTIVAL” to take place in Rome, Italy.

The Festival intends to select and present to the public a selection of audiovisual works conceived and produced as pieces of contemporary art.

The Festival welcomes any digital production technique focusing on the expressive and conceptual potentialities of the chosen medium.

There are no particular restrictions about the subject of the work, but a thematic area is suggested through the reference to the “Beyond appearance” (“Oltre l’apparenza”) umbrella title.

During the Festival, selections of guest works will be shown from the five editions of “Magmart - videoart international festival”, from Italian works joining “Fish Eye Festival”, and from “Schio Glocal Digital Fest”, as well as a short retrospective on video art.
