Flussi is an international new media arts and digital culture festival, which is held every year in Avellino, a southern Italy town enclosed between the Campanian Apennines. The focus of the event is the digital culture and electronic art in its various forms, from mainstream to experimental practices.

Flussi 2012 main purpose is to introduce new works from the wide media experimental field – from the musical to the audiovisual areas, for example: installations, performances, digital and analog experiments, etc. – which grasp inspiration from Cage’s productions and generate new vital powers and thoughts. This call for submissions invites every artist who uses techniques, technologies, practices, theories, rules, instructions, scores which are “forged” according to Cage’s modus operandi.
